P.S.: If you really pay attention to the charts on this particular page you'll notice Revista do Radio simply 'played around' with only 7 (seven) song titles distributed into 5 weeks in a game of mathematical combination and permutation

It looks like the responsible journalist was provided with 7 titles at the beginning of the month and told: 'Look, do what you can do with them until the end of the month.' It is really pitiful that no one cared about such a rude sham job.

You might ask: Knowing that Revista do Radio was not up to the mark, then why you've gone to the trouble of posting all their data?

I might answer that I went to the trouble of posting 10 years of Revista do Radio charts because they were the only source of consistent data gathering during the 1950s. Ibope would be a good alternative but their data have been scattered all around the place. Whenever I have the chance I 'complement' the data I have gathered from Revista do Radio with those of other sources, especially from Ibope.
